New Article up at The Camera Store

With the nip of fall in the air, and the sun rising and setting at less insane hours, now is the perfect time to dig out that dusty, mammoth-sized flashlight from the garage for light painting.  Every Canadian has at least two (at about 25% working capacity overall) of these orange or yellow monsters stuffed in some closet or jammed in the trunk of their car, and if you don’t have one, or if you are tired of them dying on you after 10 minutes of use, just walk over to your nearest suburban DIY hardware store and grab a new one!  Then read Darwin’s and my article about easy light painting techniques published on The Camera Store’s website.  Then get painting.

I’m at my computer working — but you have no excuse!

  1. Read it a few days ago and I loved it. From a high level I understood the concept but the actual execution of it kinda scared the bejeepers out of me. Your article helped fill in some (or a lot!) of the gaps I had.

Maybe something to try out this weekend… 🙂

  2. Wow, this is a beautiful shot. I’ll go and read the article.
